Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including mulch, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're ready to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from 4/23 through 5/10, so don't miss it.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water leak inside. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
