What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is ready for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
