We've got your dorm essentials. Utilize our storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready with cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. Bring a tub of spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Make the room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Extension cords and power strips let you place lamps, countertop microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Make certain your home is equipped for summer temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
