Do you carry moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with strong winds, thunderstorms, or snowstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When considering different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and brick for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be replaced if they're in poor condition.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
