Is there an appliance sale for Spring Black Friday?
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on home decor and bath goods, including bathroom vanities. Proper storage gives you spring cleaning freshness all year, and a new ceiling fan keeps air moving in your home as temps rise. Now is the time to finish DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. You can embrace energy-efficient living with updated appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so shop fast.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Be certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles for damage that can let water seep in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.
What kinds of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
