Make certain your home is equipped for autumn temps by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 10/3/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a witch candy box! Your little builder can put together their very own container for celebratory Halloween sweets.
