Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage containers?

Get organized this summer and enjoy more productivity. Projects go more smoothly when you can find your tools and supplies. The Home Depot Storage Sale runs June 22–August 18, and you can save on garage shelving, storage bins, cabinets, and storage systems by your favorite brands. We've got garage storage deals on all the items you'll need for an organized garage or shed.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is set for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on August 1, 2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized rocket game. Building this small wooden spaceship is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to watch your rocket climb the ladder into orbit!
