Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

Home Depot Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From tool chests to storage bins, we've got deals on what you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22–August 18, and make this the year you sort out the shed, basement, and garage.

Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?

If you've gotten the classroom decor and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like disinfecting wipes and office supplies to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Command hooks and writing utensils? Check. Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. Find cleaning supplies, storage containers to keep it all organized, and more tissues and paper towels than you think you'll need. We support our educators, so stop by to get any last-minute school supplies.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Be certain your home is ready for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.

Great product and great service in the store
With the heatwave running across the Midwest, my air conditioners in my office grid home were not up to the task. I purchased a GE window unit air conditioner and it’s a game changer. Staff at the store was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be going back to this store!

If I could give no stars, I would.
I purchased a new, already assembled Husky workbench today. I transported it to my residence and didn't even make it out of the bed of the truck before one of the casters fell apart. Frustrating as I have a very important project to complete and the workbench was a part of its success. I called the store and discussed options with the manager, Jeff. HIs advice was to just bring it back and a refund would be provided. He sounded distracted and impersonal on the phone during our brief conversation. When I made it back to the store, I explained the events to Jeff and showed him the broken caster. His provided options were that they would refund the purchase or they could look to see if they could find a replacement caster that may or may not match. I thought and expressed that I would accept four replacement casters so that they would match and prevent any additional failures of the other three. He said he would be willing to give one replacement, but would not agree to finding a matching set as it would cost "him" over $100..... I feel not flexing to provide a customer with adequate replacement parts on a product line, Husky Brand owned by Home Depot, that were faulty is so frustrating. I spent my evening purchasing and transporting this defective product back and forth. No consideration was given to my time and effort as providing a matching set of replacement casters was a stretch for the bottom line of this store. He didn't even offer to find a replacement product at another local store! I felt Jeff's lack of creativity in addressing product defects was poor customer service at best. I actually would have accepted a simple markdown on an upgraded workbench from Milwaukee as a fair compensation. The upgrade would have been an additional $300 in sales for the store....but no effort was given to recognize and find resolution to the matters. A simple refund was the easy solution to make the problem go away. The result, I will not return as a customer to Home Depot. I was a long time shopper and previous associate. Very frustrated and disappointed with my experience. Blue Store here I come!

              Unexpected positive staff interaction
I have never had any remarkable positive interaction with HD staff. Usually they ignore me or refer me to someone else for a question. I don't go here often, but this visit was very nice. There was a person there in charge of house plants that I enjoyed talking to, and a young man at the cash register who personally helped me get a large bag of potting soil to my car b/c he couldn't get anybody else. My cart was full of plants and I am disabled. I only gave 4 stars b/c I don't know if this is a new trend or chance encounters.

                Great Location
This store seems to have inventory of items that is fairly accurate and seems to be well organized. Always get greeted or asked if I could be helped in the aisle.

                  Outstanding customer service!
Brian Lasley, Supervisor has always gone above and beyond to help my son and me at this Home Depot location. His entire Customer service staff at the desk will point you in the right direction of whatever it is you are needing, look things up for you, call someone upfront to help you, etc. Brian is very professional and friendly, and clarifies and drills down everything so that he can look it up for us and tell us where it is located in the store, what else we might need with a purchase for repairing something, etc. One of the few employees who truly cares about his company, his job, and providing great customer service. Please thank Brian for us, Melinda and Cody
