Command hooks and writing utensils? Check. Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. We support our educators, so stop by to get any last-minute school supplies.
How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Be certain your home is ready for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?
Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
