Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for Father's Day?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get great deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4–24, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is ready for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the 4th of July. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
