Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From garage shelving to tool chests, we've got deals on everything you want for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the year you organize the shed, garage, and basement.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If water gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with damage. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is imagining your rocket blasting off into space, so join your new friends to launch a fleet of rocketships!

      Green Fiber Cellulose
Bought 40 bags of green fiber cellulose insulation. The product was filled with shopping bag pieces and other debris that clogged the blowing machine. Even found a stocking cap in one bag that clogged the machine. No other sign of the person that was wearing it so assume they ended up in other bags. Took twice as long to complete the job because of an inferior product that kept clogging the blower machine.

This store is our first stop when we need ‘certain’ items.
The employees are helpful and we usually find what we are looking for such as appliances, hardware, building (doors) and gardening

            Customer service
The customer service at this store is so good! Every time I go in that store and pass by an employee, everybody always speaks to me. Ask me how I’m doing. Ask me if I need any help finding anything. Every single employee does that! I have a retail background and even in my store the customer service isn’t that good?

              Rude employees
Like so many other reviews before me, I’ve dealt with rude employees here. The check out women and at the front counter are perfectly nice, but God forbid you need to ask a question from anyone else. Just tried to buy some wood for a deck project, only to be made to feel like I was stupid and wasting their time. In a conversation that maybe took 5 minutes at the most, I not only didn’t get my answer, but left feeling like I’d never want to step foot in this store again. Mt question, was only if they’d get more of the wood I needed to finish my deck, as they didn’t have enough on hand. The online stock didn’t accurately reflect the actual amount in store, and they treated me like I was rude and stupid for bringing it up. They didn’t have a delivery date for when the lumber might be to the store, and couldn’t tell me if when it was delivered to the store that the online stock would accurately reflect that. I was told they could deliver it to my house for a fee, but if I wanted to buy it in store I would just have to go to the store and walk back to the lumber section to see if it was there, possibly Monday, maybe Wednesday, maybe Friday, maybe next week. Maybe I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

Drove 2 hours because they had 3 augers in stock. Showed up and they didn’t have a single one.
As the title says. Online and the employees pda said they had 3 in stock. Had to walk around the store with the employee who eventually gave up and said he couldn’t find any and told me he would have his manager correct the item count. That didn’t help me at all. 4 hours and $80 in gas wasted.

Best Home Depot store in the entire country
We recently moved to Fenton and shop at this store frequently. I have shopped several Home Depot locations in Michigan and in other parts of the country. This particular Home Depot has the best staff of any Home Depot store that I have visited. Everyone is very polite, helpful, and resourceful.
