Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is the Memorial Day Sale?

Get ready to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you want to save on: grills, outdoor power equipment, appliances, patio furniture, and more. Some categories are up to 20% off, while others have select online items up to 40%! It's easy to shop for bargains that run from May 14–27, 2026, with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on June 6, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
