Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Father's Day sale?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to 24th in-store or online, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on everything he can't wait to receive.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is set for relentless summer weather by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofing or shingles for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 6/6/2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
