Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Father's Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to 24th in-store or online, and you can save on garage storage, generators, riding lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents you'll need to make his day.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is set for summertime temps by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on June 6th. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. Building this tiny soccer game is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
