Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any deals on garage storage?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From garage shelving to garage bundles, we've got bargains on what you want for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from 6/22–8/18, and make this the year you sort out the garage, shed, and basement.

Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?

When you've gotten your classroom decorations at the educator store and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like office supplies to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Command hooks and writing utensils? Check. Glue guns and hot glue sticks to match? We have those, too. Find storage containers to keep it all organized, cleaning supplies, and more tissues and paper towels than you could possibly need — because you'll end up using them all. We support teachers, so drop in to get any last-minute school supplies.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is set for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!

      Super paint supply help
Sergio at the Richfield store was incredibly helpful as I picked out the correct paint supplies needed for a big DIY project. He never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. This store has a wonderful staff. I've been so lucky to interact with them and get their guidance.

        Good find!
I've been looking for a rain gauge and am very happy with this one. It is solid, I can stick in my patio planter and see it from my window. It is also mountable with two screws and can be lifted off by sliding up off the screws.

            Just a lighter
Overall my visit was smooth and enjoyable. The store was clean, the staff was helpful, and checkout was quick. One thing that could make the experience even better would be clearer signage in a few areas—it would make it easier to find items without having to search around. Otherwise, everything went well and I appreciate

              Stop going to Home Depot.
Do need to shop at store until owners say Mn is not garbage. Langone doesn’t deserve any Mn business. He said informed he is all in the President who insults me and my neighbors.

Very Unprofessional carpet, vinyl order & measure ordering process
I came in for a new carpet and vinyl plank flooring install for my basement. The sales rep scheduled two measures with 2 different people - one for the carpet to be insalled in a family room and a bedroom and the other for the vinyl plank in the back hall, stairs, laundry room and bathroom. When the vinyl plank technician came to measure, he told me we could not install the VPF because we have a basement floor drain and a bathroom. Apparently VPF needs to be installed on a level surface and because there is a chance of having water in the area of the floor drain and the sloping floor near the drain, the VPF warranty would be void so he didn't recommend using that product. Instead he suggested sheet vinyl. This made me wonder why I needed to get 2 different people to measure my basement spaces. The sales person told me it was because there are 2 different products: carpet and vinyl plank flooring. This made no sense to me and I told this to the 2nd guy who came to measure for the VPF. He agreed with me: one person could do the measures for both products. I am very grateful for the 2nd measure guy's expertise because I made my decision to not have Home Depot install the VPF. I'm upset that the sales person who set up the masure appointments didn't explain to me the issue with the VPF in the basement & in the laundry room with the floor drain. I explaned to her which rooms and areas where i was going to have this installed and she needed to click on the order form for the rooms that needed the measure. I will use the carpet for the 2 rooms that I ordered and paid for; however, I will not be using Home Depot for the VPF or the sheet vinyl due to the unprofessionalism and lack of training from the sales person.

                    Great employees
My last shopping experience at THD Richfield sure was great. Aside from getting assistance at Pro Desk & Returns counter. I had 2 associates (from a distance of ~20+ ft away, all me if I needed any help. Plus 2 others walking past acknowledged me (1 verbally, 1 with a head nod greeting)
