Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

Prepare to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major items you've been waiting to save on: grills, outdoor power equipment, appliances, patio furniture, and more. Some categories have select items up to 40%, while others offer up to 20% off. It's easy to shop for bargains from May 14–27 with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 6/6/2026. Sign up for free to build a tiny soccer game. You provide the creativity and we provide the materials. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
