Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot?

Get ready for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washers and fridges, outdoor living accessories like patio furniture, outdoor cooking supplies, and grills, plus tools for all your DIY projects. Save up to 40% off select online bathroom items and select appliances. Check it out in-store or online from May 14th to 27th.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing or roof shingles for damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6th. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized soccer game. You provide the creativity and we provide the materials. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
