Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of the Garage Storage Sale?

Garage Storage Savings are here, so it's time to get shopping. From tool chests to workbenches, we've got bargains on everything you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the year you organize the shed, garage, and basement.

What 4th of July deals do you have?

Freshen up your appliances now and enjoy them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale, with appliance savings starting at $398, to find affordable upgrades on refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioners. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on outdoor power equipment, grills, and tools. This 4th of July Sale runs from June 25th to July 8th, so be sure to shop it at your local store or on our mobile app.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summer heat by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the July Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on July 4th. Sign up for free to build a tiny toy go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
