What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Make certain your home is ready for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you offer moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
