Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage or moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared for any circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with tornados, hurricanes, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.

Why should I repair my roof before spring severe weather arrives?

Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roofing panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be replaced if they're in poor condition.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
