Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27, 2026! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Find deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your house, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on June 6th. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. A simpler and smaller version of the full-size tables, this tiny soccer game is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
