Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a garage storage sale?

Explore our Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the basement, garage, or shed. Save up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions and 20% off select storage solutions. Elevate the room with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then arrange them on new garage shelves. What do I need for my dorm?

Come see us for your dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Bring a tub of spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Power strips and extension cords let you place table lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your Richfield Home Depot.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect metal roofing or roof shingles for rust or damage that can let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on August 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a wooden rocket game! Your little builder can put together their very own rocket game craft — like a real rocketship but kid-sized. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!

    Very helpful employee!
I went in with an online order and came out with what I had on backorder. All thanks to Mason. He listened to my concerns and went out of his way to find what I needed and got it down for me! I am a very happy customer.

      Prefect help
I went in the other day looking for materials and ideas on how to mount, seal, and secure my windows mount air conditioner. I had a rough idea what I was going to do in mind but when I got to the store, I had asked an associate for help finding what I was after and explained the scenario to him. He had very politely suggested a few different ideas and explained his thoughts behind doing it that way to me. I had decided his was m way was more ideal than mine and he helped me find the appropriate materials needed for this new idea. I got home, followed his inductions, and it's better than I think the way I was going to do it would have worked out. And for a bit cheaper too I might add.

                Door Prices
I tried adding 2 exterior doors to an order. The store price was $1,000 more per door than the online price, the store was unwilling to honor the online price! That was very disappointing. I would double check the pricing before purchase so that you do not get gouged!

                  Great store
The Richfield Home Depot is stocked with everything you could use from building supplies to home improvement. There employees are very knowledgeable and can answer questions to guide you in the right direction. The employees have always been very helpful and polite to me. I also find their products to be very high quality. I don't think you could go wrong by picking up your supplies or having them delivered from this store.

                    Great but limited selection
I love shopping Home Depot, but this is one of their smaller stores with a limited selection. It is the only one within 170 miles. Many times I find I have to order online and wait for shipping or go to one of the bigger stores that is a 2.5 hour drive away.
