Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage bins and shelves?

Find Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the shed, basement, or garage. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions. Keep tools and treasures out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then arrange them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these bargains in-store and online from 6/22–8/18.

Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?

Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. Find storage containers, cleaning products, and more tissues and paper towels than you could possibly need — because you'll end up using them all. How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer weather by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is launching the rocket, so leave some time to send your rocketship into space!

Very poor customer service- I was sold a damaged fridge.
I bought a refrigerator yesterday with the help of friends who have a car( because I don't). When unpacking the fridge, we noticed the door is damaged. My friends went back home. I called the shop to let them know about the damaged fridge and they told me to bring back the fridge. But since I don't have a car, I can't do it. I asked the shop to bring me a new fridge and pick up this one but they say they cant do that. I have instead to pay for a rental car or a uber. It is unfair for me to pay extra for an issue that is shop related. I am now stuck with a damaged fridge. What a poor customer service! And in first place, what a shame to sell damaged item.

Opened/Missing Hardware on Online Pick Up Order
Don't be lazy like I was, just go and buy what you need in-store so you do not have to go back again. Both items received were damaged/opened and had the incorrect amount of screws.

        Don’t Pay for Install
If you are going to buy any appliance and have it installed, hire someone known and trusted to you to do it not the contractor through this Home Depot. What they did to my kitchen should be criminal. After delivering a set of new kitchen appliances, their installation crew destroyed the plumbing to my sink, stripped the supply line for my gas, put 10 holes into my cabinets and still only managed to get the microwave up with a single screw, and scratches my hardwood floors. In the process they broke the dishwasher and managed to bend the microwave’s metal. Home Depot won’t come back out for over a week and their insurance was supposed to be in contact within 48 hours and crickets. I will never buy another thing from Home Depot and I think all consumers should be aware of the criminal operation the New River Valley branch has operating. At this rate it looks like I won’t have a kitchen to cook in for Christmas. I am beyond livid.

Over 100 board foot of trim
Home Depot operated like a professional Millworks shop. Andy’s vast knowledge made short work of special cuts on over 100 board feet of specialized trim.

Great cashier that pointed us to sales plants
Elma alerted us to some plants that were steeply discounted and also quickly completed our total purchase including numerous moving boxes that were in stock.

                  The Employee Jim
I have shop for over 20 years purchased all my needs from home depot in christensburg. While back I got the manager involved when Jim an employee their was extremely rude to me and my mother. All the manager said that doesn't seem like Jim. We needed some lumber cut and I wanted the lumber cut a certain way, I told Jim it be easier if he was to cut both at one time. Jim got hateful when me raised his voice and said will you let me cut it. His hate in his voice causes me to feel uncomfortable including my mother while we're in the store after this incident happened. I don't feel the manager did a good job addressing the issue as when we We are in the store, Jim looks at us and never says one word. Even at the pro desk another employee helped us and Jim just looked down on us. Jim has a white long beard and is slim and tall. I feel he should have training on how to properly talk to customers. It's never good when a customer feels unsafe in a store due to a employee, he should give us an apology instead of ignoring us and just looking at us. Definitely not professional.
