Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on garage storage?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so it's time to get shopping. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got bargains on everything you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from 6/22/26–8/18/26, and make this the summer you clean out the garage and basement.

When is The Home Depot 4th of July Tool Sale?

It's time for The Home Depot 4th of July Sale. Save big with deals on bath accessories, tools, patio furniture, and appliances. Check out savings on air conditioning, lighting, storage, and outdoor power equipment, too. Shop these sales from June 25–July 8 on our mobile app or in person at your local store. Take advantage of these Independence Day deals.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this go-kart toy. Constructing a small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on July 4th, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
