How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be certain your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing faulty parts of your home. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water freezes inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.
What types of moving boxes do you have?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
