Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a tool sale for Memorial Day?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27, 2026! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on outdoor power equipment, tools, refrigerators, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Find incredible deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 6/6/2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this adorable pint-sized soccer field. Building this tiny soccer game is a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
