Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a patio furniture sale for Memorial Day?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through May 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, tools, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Find incredible deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items.
