Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Memorial Day Deals do you have in 2026?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on refrigerators, tools, outdoor power equipment, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Save big on deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on June 6th, 2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
