Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are washing machines on sale for Father's Day at Home Depot?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings in-store and online at our Father’s Day Sale, and find amazing deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run from June 4–24 only, so don't miss them.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this toy go-kart. Constructing a kid-sized wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on the 4th of July, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
