Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are storage bins part of the Garage Storage Sale?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so it's time to get shopping. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got deals on what you want for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the summer you sort out the garage and basement.

Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?

If you've gotten the classroom decor and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like office supplies and disinfecting wipes to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Writing utensils and Command hooks? Check. Glue guns and hot glue sticks to match? We have those, too. Find storage containers, cleaning products, and more paper towels and tissues than you think you'll need. We love educators, so stop in to get any missing school supplies.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a wooden spaceship toy is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.

How do you miss this when picking items out for customers. We trust people getting items that they are correct and not broken to ensure we don't have to waste time/effort on coming back.

Great help, especially after Hurricane Milton.
We have been doing a bunch of business there before Hurricane Milton and certainly after. We just bought a new washer/dryer there a few months ago. They have been great to work with going all out in helping us find the right materials with the manager even giving us a large discount on two fans to help dry our flooding issues.

Thank you Home Depot for doing the right thing and allowing me to return a defective LG A/C unit despite the manufacturer not standing behind their product or warranty.

Very helpful and friendly customer service.
Had to replace my mail box, everything was easy, except for digging through roots for the new post.

          Kudus for assisting with Casita
My husband and I live in OH. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Edgewater. They built us a small cottage( casita) on their property. The flooring and cupboards were done by Home Depot and we continue to shop here for items to complete our little home away from home.

            Easy in, easy out
I stay quite busy as an artist and most of my projects involve building materials such as wood, paint, epoxy, adhesives, electrical supplies etc. It’s a great feeling to be able to get it all in one store.

Best customer service I’ve ever gotten!
I made an online order and went to pick it up, but they were backed up and offered to have someone help me find each of the items. This not only saved me time but gave me a personalized shopping experience. When the associate (I think his name was Dylan) and I had trouble finding a specific planter, two other associates (Trell and a woman who’s name I can’t remember) worked together to find the planter AND go get it down in a pallet from the very top shelf. The BOPIS staff worked as a team to find solutions and accommodations such as discounting an open bag of fertilizer. I have to highlight the gardening staff! I am a gardening newbie and just got a desert rose and bonsai tree to start caring for as a hobby. Maia from gardening was just amazing. She talked to me like a friend and made an effort to go above and beyond. She got to know about me as a person, and even repotted my two plants for me!! She gave me recommendations and tips to make sure my plants succeed! Andy and Lauren in gardening were also very sweet and helpful; Lauren checked me out efficiently and gave me a discount on an open bag of soil when I needed to get additional items, and Andy helped me bring the heavy planters to my car.

                Trashy
The aisles, especially lumber, are always full of carts making it impossible to traverse them.

                  Messy Store
This home depot uses up all the carts for what I assume are curbside orders. Not only can you not find a cart, the aisles are littered with unattended carts full of all kinds of stuff sticking out of them. How annoying!!!! And dangerous! Every time we shop here it is the same story.....

                    Treated like family
This particular store treats everyone like family. This is highly unusual for a big box store! Kudos to the entire staff!!
