Can I get Express Delivery through my store?
Select items can arrive lightning-fast with Express Delivery, a same-day service that delivers straight from your store to your front door. Be sure to place your order by 4 p.m. local time for delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on item size, local stock, and driver availability. See if you can get Express Delivery when you set your local store in The Home Depot app or online. Qualifying products will show an Express Delivery tag both in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes bulk orders, aerosols, and custom mixed paint). Express Delivery orders may be subject to additional delivery charges.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Make certain your home is ready for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
