How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles for damage that might let water in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
