Professional and polite cashier
Haven't used the pipe and hangers yet due to weather delays, but my visit was quick and Larry was very polite and professional. I generally shop at this store off Woodmen and Academy, and they usually have what I need.

    Excellent Customer Service
    I'd like to give a big shout-out to Hans and Nate at HD store #1510 for their above and beyond customer service. I needed cedar floor planking which were not on the shelf nor on the top of the rack even though the website indicted 23 units were In Stock. Hans and Nate worked together to bring in the product from the back yard outside after calling the supervisor to unlock the giant rolling door. Job well done Hans and Nate and a highly satisfied customer!

      NO LONGER A CUSTOMER
      Home Depot has a new policy of only giving 90% back on return items. This is example of corporations who are only motivated by profit and no longer care about their customers.

              Normally OK, but sometimes they really miss the mark
              Went to get some electrical parts. Had a hard time getting assistance and the first one had no clue, so I asked them to page an appropriate person. They went away and never paged anyone. Asked someone else to page an electrical dept person and one finally came. But they didn't have a clue either. Gave up on this store and went to a different HD and got great help.

                    Luxury Vinyl Flooring
                    I was purchasing LVP flooring and installation from Home Depot. I called the 844-416-0210 line as instructed once my measurements were done, to select my product and move forward with the order. I was told they could put together a quote but that the product I wanted (Lifeproof Paso Fino Oak) had to be added IN the store and they could not add it over the phone because that product was not in their system. I went into the store and spoke to Larry (? Flooring specialist) who said that he could not add the product but he called that line and he said they would speak to the merchandiser and give me a call back later that day with the updated estimate. They did not call me back. So I called that line again the next day and spoke to a very helpful woman who explained that they did not have that product in their system and the local store would have to do it and she told me if I was told to call them again that I should ask to speak to a manager, because this must be done by the local store. So I went back and unfortunately Larry was the only one there and he didn’t know how to add it. But I told him what they told me over the phone. He tried to tell me to come back when Judy was back and could help me, but I work full time and don’t have a lot of free time, so that was not possible or ideal. It took about an hour but he finally built the quote. However now the company that it is subcontracted out to only has a 2.3 star rating on Google. And they have added $1,000 onto the original quote for things that should have been included on the original estimate. This includes sealing off the area where tile is being removed. This was discussed during the measuring process so it should have been included on the original estimate. It also includes potentially cutting the tile if the cabinets are sitting on top of the tile. This was also discussed during the measuring and should therefore have been included on the original estimate. I cannot recommend working with Home Depot on flooring installation.

                      What a great Manager!
                      Today it's almost impossible to get good customer service let alone outstanding service but that's what I received from this Home Depot and their Manager Alaina who helped out with a delivery misunderstanding around an online paver order. She was very attentive and empathetic and I could tell from her interaction with me that she was truly interested in finding a solution even though it inconvenienced their business by sending an empty Moffett truck to my location to move paver pallets that were delivered to the curb by the Trucking company. Actually stunned me a little to have them be so accommodating. If you have a problem, ask for Alaina and I'm sure you will be just as satisfied. HD, give that lady some recognition ($). These kinds of employees keep you coming back and I should know, I'm an employer.

                          If you are going to rent tools from The Home Depot location on N. Academy Blvd., make sure Tim is the person working. I had several issues, due to my lack of knowledge, and Tim was very understanding, helpful, and saves me some money. THANK YOU, TIM.

                            As a frequent shopper at Home Depot, I've had the pleasure of interacting with several store managers, but Brent at the Home Depot and Daniel, who first helped me, truly stood out. What really sets Brent apart is his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. He approached my situation with a positive, can-do attitude, and was ready to lend a helping hand. During my recent visit, I had an issue with a previous purchase that required Brent's expertise, and he handled it with impressive ease, understanding, and leadership - resolving the problem efficiently and without any unnecessary drama. Prior to, Brent dealing with it, I must say that, Daniel was intuitive, sharp, reassuring and went above and beyond. The level of personalized service that Brent and Daniel provides is nothing short of exceptional. There willingness to go the extra mile, and genuine care for customers is truly unmatched. You can tell that they both have immense pride in their work and are dedicated to ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied. In short, Brent and Daniel are the gold standard for what a store manager and likely manager should be.                                       Paint department was a 10 both trips
                                      I enjoy your store because it’s smaller and parking is easy, paint department and cashiers were great!2 trips 2 days, I have good luck in your store, always someone there to help, thank you and management needs a shout out to paint department! Alex & very nice lady with longgg hair!! Didn’t catch her name sorry , you know it’s nice to go in to your store and leave in a good mood!!! And then there’s the traffic on Academy!!!!!

                                                No employees in the store on the Saturday of a holiday weekend
                                                By far the worst experience I have ever had at this Home Depot. I would never come here again if it was always like this (and I’m a Pro member that comes here often!) I have never seen it this bad. There was almost no employees on the floor to help (on a Saturday of a 3-day weekend, nonetheless!) It took us 35min to be checked out at the register, when we were only 3rd in line to begin with. Cashier Israel (the only cashier working, mind you) is the slowest cashier of all time (borderline incompetence associated with that). Then after 30min of waiting (while watching 2 employees at the tool rental standing around chatting and not helping), employee Greg begrudgingly comes up to the register and announces “world’s worst cashier right here”! Time off for the employees was GROSSLY mismanaged this holiday. This needs to be looked at for every holiday moving forward. Management needs to get their act together. Home Depot did NOT “Nail It” today. Thank you for addressing this moving forward, and I look forward to shopping here in the future.

                                                        Unwilling to Fix Their Mistakes or Listen to Your Concerns
                                                        They grossly over ordered products for my install. Over 200% on transition moldings and tried to make me purchase thousands of dollars in material and labor that weren't needed like quarter round when I was already paying to have baseboards replaced. They put it back on my order even after I had it removed the day before paying. Then told me just purchase and if they are not needed you can return. I refused to purchase the quarter round, I wonder how many baseboard jobs they have done that too. Guess what I was right all the transition moldings weren't needed and when I went too return they charged me a restock fee for their gross over order. And too top it all they dismissed my concerns without listening at the store. And don't be fooled by amount on keypad for your return when you sign. They show you full price on keypad without the restock fee when you sign and then clawback their restock fee so check your receipt.
