This store is clean and well stocked. The sales people are very friendly and helpful.

Jennifer, in customer service, was very helpful in locating the item we were looking to purchase. She was very professional and courteous. The Algonquin store is the only home improvement store we shop at.

See Nico in flooring for any of your flooring needs. Nico is knowledgeable and professional and handled my somewhat complicated flooring order with ease. Nico followed up several times as needed for my project and was available to speak with in person and when I called into the store.

I LOVE this store! I’m here all the time and I’ve worked with the store manager, assistant managers, and dozens and dozens of department associates. They are all so nice and helpful no matter my project. They always work to find a solution if I need something. I actually consider many of them true friends. They really are Algonquin’s All-Star community store.

My experience on a number of times has left me no choice but to rate this Home Depot a 1 star. Unfortunately time and time again my experience has been tainted by one employee in particular. Jon who I usually see in customer service is very unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to assist customers. My family and I have been coming to this location for YEARS. We own 16+ rental properties and apartments and are there multiple times a week. We spend thousands of dollars there. Anytime I have asked this employee for help locating an item, picking up an online order, or returning an item. He has been very hostile and unwilling to help. He has lied on multiple occasions and managers have had to come and take over for him do to his lack of help. He is unwilling to assist and comes off very pompous. I love love love a lot of employees there but this individual has unfortunately tainted me coming back as well as my maintenance men, family and friends.

This store is great. I would give it a five star if Jon ever stops working here. He is awful to deal with.

I'm extremely happy with my new gas range, the service I received, and efficient procedures involved with this purchase. As for the excellent delivery, I'm especially pleased with the polite, efficient and quality installation.

I have been going to this store for about 13 years. This store has excellent service. I never have to look for someone to help me. Associates offer to help every time I go in. The store is clean and everything is easy to find. The employees at this store are truly genuine!

A few long time employees are rude and unfriendly, and take their jobs for granted, act as if they don't like working in the public sphere. They need to understand that I can go elsewhere when going to this store feels more like a hostile public serving environment...

In general, Home Depot is a great store. I have used them many times in the past (windows, kitchen floor, bedroom floor) This is the first time there have been any problems in many, many years of shopping there.

employees are helpful and will engage with you - very refreshing from other stores especially during the pandemic. they are forward thinking and see you looking at some product and will guide you to other similar products or offer suggestions.

Home Depot was the third store that we went to and we hit the jackpot. Edward who helped us with our storm door was awesome. He was very knowledgeable not pushy and spent the whole time with us. Mary Ann at the register was also very informative. She took her time explaining To us about filling out a credit application to get money off of the purchase of the door. She was very patient.

Lydia, my cashier in the garden checkout, was friendly, fast and organized.

Out of Most Products Not Enthusiastic Employees But where else are you able to go

I very much appreciate this store. My go to for home needs. I have always received a great customer service for years in this store. Thank you Hopme Depot!!

Associates went out of their way to verify item availability while I waited on the phone, The store was a fair distance away from my normal locations. Delivery was excellent as the item ( large 10' x 4' & 350#) was palletized and undamaged.

Items were not stocked and available. No associate shows up to help or assist even after I asked for help.

Inventories were off in the system when I ordered online. I needed moving boxes and ordered them ahead and they all showed in stock. I like the idea of curbside pickup, but was required to wait for notification. The notification for pickup took two days, and two of the main things I needed were canceled without any timely notification. I wish the inventory showing online were correct so I would not have wasted two days waiting for items I needed but was not going to get. I also wish that it didn't take two days to find out that I was not going to get the 50 boxes I needed- I could have found them elsewhere with more timely processing of my online order.

My first time to drill dry wall. I explained it to the salesperson in the lumber section and he advice me to practice first in a piece of wood. He then gave a a little one for free. Good advice!

I find that the people who work at this store are always friendly and very helpful when looking for a product and also have the knowledge of how to use the product.

Returns at this store are always quick and easy.

Scott in the paint department was very nice and helpful. He definitely knows what he is doing. Very friendly as well. Heather at the cashier was also friendly and speedy. Got me out of there in the time I wanted. Both Heather and Scott are great at what they do.

Jack/Appliances Jack was wonderful! Very informative and great customer service! He answered all questions that I asked in detail and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered in detail. After speaking with Jack I walked out of Home Depot saying to myself when the time comes to replace “all” of my kitchen appliances I would go to Home Depot when I buy new appliances. Nick/Cash Register was very customer service focused making sure I found all that I needed and it was obvious that Nick loved his job!! It was obvious to me that Home Depot does great interviewing when hiring employees to work at their stores. WAY TO GO HOME DEPOT!!

Very pleased with my visit at the Algonquin store; employees Joy and Eric in flooring and manager Kelly and women at self check out(sorry I forgot her name) were very helpful, courteous, friendly and professional. It was nice engaging with people who smile and are willing to help you. I will be returning soon!
