Employees have little concern about customers

There are several employees at this store that are tremendous! Example. I was looking for a specific toilet. The app said they had 16 in stock. I got to the store only to find there were none. I asked an employee who said they were still on the truck. I could have went somewhere else but the guy told me they would unload it right then! even though they were at the back of the truck. I waited about 15 minutes and was able to walk out with my new toilet.

I typically go to Countryside, IL store but today traveled to Alsip, IL because homedepot.com said a specific light was in stock. I dealt w/ several employees who looked briefly but could't find; however, did direct me to the service desk where I met Dana. Dana & another pretty colleague of hers were able to find the SKU from a model number of the product. There was no location for it but Dana set let's go take a look. Within minutes Dana found in on the overstock shelf 15' feet up. Phenomenal!

I came in to return an online purchase. There was no one at the return line, even though the sign was lit. I asked the young lady who was sanitizing shopping carts if I should wait in this return line or proceed to the online order pickup line, as other people with returns were in that line. She told me to proceed to the online order line. The person in front of me had both a return and a purchase, and I waited patiently for the CS rep to complete both. Other people came as I was waiting and asked me if I was waiting to do a return. I acknowledged that I was waiting to do a return, and explained that the person sanitizing carts directed me to the line I was in. Within 5 minutes, someone came over to the return line register and started assisting people from the back of the line that I was in. Another associate asked the rest of us "how many are waiting for returns"? When we raised our hands, she then told us that "we would have to wait, as there are 2 return lines and the line that most were in was doing both returns and online pickups ". I pointed out to her that a lot of us were there before the ones being taken care of for returns at that moment. Her response was "I'm not telling you to go to the back of the line, but you will have to wait". The logical thing to do would have been to attempt to try and organize things, but I assume that was beyond her scope of reason. I eventually requested for a manager, who was less help. He actually asked me "what do you want me to do"? I suggested that his team try to keep some order, explained a logical course of action and acknowledged that there was nothing he could do at that moment but try and prevent it from happening again. As a customer, I am looking for problem resolution, not providing problem resolution. I will not shop at this location again.

This store has a very knowledgeable employee in the tool department, though he apparently knows the entire store very well. He makes shopping at the Alsip location a lot of fun.

Even during this unsettling time customer service at this location was Superior. You are greeted when you arrive, approached by a service associate immediately who is not only friendly but quite knowledgeable, and checking out was quick too. The store environment was clean, well organized and stock. I highly recommend this location.

Cashier Terri, avoid her at all costs. very unresponsive, grumpy and should not be in service industry. many internal issues creating bad service at this location

Th sales people were excellent and knowlegeable about the appliances I was purchasing. There was some hiccups with the delivery and appliances were returned and a new delivery date set. The delivery men were exceptional and I appreciated their knowledge and expertise in setting up my appliance appliances and removing the old appliances. I was also happy to see that you sent the same ones to my home with the new appliances and to change the door opening on the dryer.I commend them on their excellent service.

Convenient location and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Run to another store worst of the worst, no customer service

I like going to this Home Depot. Firstly, it's right across the parking lot from LA Fitness, which is convenient when I visit the gym! Secondly, I like the attention of the store staff. I especially like that the staff wear the orange HOME DEPOT aprons! I can spot them quickly. Although we happened to utilize the 95th Street location in Oak Lawn, my husband & I just had a new Kitchen & Screen door installed and we are very pleased! The Installer and store associates helped us with our selection and the whole process went smoothly. I'm confident that this Home Depot offers the same great, reliable service. I can't wait to visit the garden area in the spring

This Home Depot location is consistently well-stocked and has friendly (and knowledgeable) staff.

The store is very clean, the employees are very helpful and I love going onto the store because you can find all and good deals on items I have found items that I couldn't fine elsewhere and they allways have it when me and my husband start a new project.

The manager was not very accommodating even though I spent $500.00

John was great and the Customer service desk was excellent and followed me all the way back to store to help me find what I wanted. A pedestal sink. I cannot believe the wonderful service. I have gone to a Home Depot in Oak Lawn. Left there mad and upset. Went to this one. Friend suggested. I am glad I went. Cashier great asked if I needed help with my merchandise to car. That has never happened before at any other Home Depot I have gone too. Cleanest Home Depot I have ever been at. Every Associate I met there greeted me with a friendly face. I will only come back to this one. Even though it is out of my way. I will be back.

I REALLY LIKE THIS HOMEDEPOT LOCATION. EVERYTIME I HAVE COME TO THIS HOME DEPOT I AM GREETED AT THE ENTRANCE AND AS I WALK THROUGH THE STORE THE EMPOLYEES ALWAYS SAY HELLO. THE ALSIP LOCATION IS ONE OF THE FRIENDEST AND CLEANER HOME DEPOTS.

Always kind and helpful employees. Things are in stock and the store is clean and neat. No long wait in line, ever!

Great Neighborhood Store

Excellent store merchandise, excellent customer service staff and excellent sales staff. The store is well s stocked and the prices are reasonable, especially the sales. You do not have to spend a lot of time looking for someone to assist you. Most of the staff, walking around, will ask if you need assistance if it appears you need assistance. Great store.

This is our favor store, I just brought a home in November and all our appliances, yard equipment; anything that you can image comes from Home Depot in our house. My family make funny of us and always says "you guys are at home depot", but all in all we truly enjoy the service and products we get here.

Employees are rude and stand around talking amongst themselves as customers roam the aisles in search of help. When they do find help the associate is rude and condescending and have no knowledge of the items they sell.
