Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals available at The Home Depot?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including patio furniture, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you'll be ready to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26, so shop fast!

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on May 2nd. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all kinds of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
