While I was able to find the products that I needed, maneuvering through the absolute jam packed aisles was not only difficult, but very frustrating. At one point I was literally stuck in an aisle while at one end product was being moved/rearranged in the middle of the aisle and the other end other customers were looking at items and blocking the aisle. Why is Home Depo using its aisles as a storage area for products?

If possible I wouldn't rate this store as a one star at all. I've lived in the area for 8 years and shop at this store because it does have items for remodeling/construction that's not carried at other stores. This larges complaint here is the lack of help from store employees and/or management. It seems to me there is a lot more concern about the time we get off or talking to another employee. Maybe this just happens when I walk on the store and the rest of the time there are 3 employees to each customer. This didn't happen back in the days I lived at Lake Travis or at the store on Slaughter Lane and IH 35 South in Austin Texas to rent tools.

Friendly and helpful staff. Product availability good. Pricing reasonable. Store clean and well maintained.

I shop at this store often as I prefer it over the other providers in town. My biggest complain would be the customer service. The many times I've shopped at the Bastrop store I can most often not find anyone to help with most times just te right direction to find a particular item (such as a return air filter grill someone to cut conduit etc).

I love this Home Depot. I had no trouble finding what I needed. Store employees and staff were helpful and courteous.

Going to Home Depot has always been a great experience for me. I am beyond grateful to always have someone there to help out with finding the items I am looking for. It is fantastic to have the employees make suggestions tailored to my needs. It is beyond my thanks for having someone always there to help me load large items into my car (Small SUV). The prices are extremely reasonable and love it when there is a sale on an item I really need. I will and always will go to Home Depot for all home and yards needs. Thank you to all the kind people who really go out of their way to help all customers.

I LOVE shopping at this Home Depot. This store is AWESOME it has a lot of hard working associates. The management is ground engaged and are concerned with providing the best shopping experience they can. Im a DIY guy and This store is My Toy Store for sure.

Johnny at the pro desk was professional as always. Taylor at returns was friendly and quick. Heaven was delightful. Travis was incitefull Micky was friendly and personable.

I find the Bastrop Home Depot to be one that senior enjoy shopping at. Their employees are polite, helpful and checkout lines are always attended and quick. That cannot be said of some other improvement stores. Senior citizens are sometimes treated with impatience and avoidance as we tend to need a bit more assistance with projects. We as a generation notice such things and word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool. Home Depot, especially the Bastrop location caters quite well to us and we are appreciative and thankful. Keep up the goot work. It is noticed.

Store was clean, and had great selection of products needed, but customer service is lacking. No offer to help carry a large mirror (a stranger, non employee, did it for me)

Excellent Services

Almost 5-star. I have much experience in construction and some retail, so I know what it's like to handle a store like this. During peak times, they are crowded and associates are stretched thin, so don't expect great service and a quick in-and-out. If you do need customer service or questions answered, orders, etc. I suggest you go in during slower business hours and they will definitely help you out. Most of the time the store is clean and fairly well stocked. Keep in mind that Bastrop is a big booming town and these guys have a lot to keep up with. I must say that they are much better than the other blue box across the street.

The employees in the Bastrop store are so much easier to deal with than those in Austin stores that, when in Austin, I will drive all the way to Bastrop (don't live in Bastrop either) rather than stop in Austin. The Bastrop employees are both more friendly and knowledgeable.

Went into store to purchase a washer and dryer. I had picked the ones out I wanted online and expected the sales people to try to sell me more expensive one but they did not. They took care of my purchase quickly and with so much courtesy.

Staff very helpful, selection very good, hours convenient. I suggest using the website to check for product availability. However, calling is the best bet, but be prepared to wait on hold for awhile. they appear to be swamped frequently. After 7:30 pm it it sometimes difficult to find assistance, so be patient.
