Mr Curtis
Curtis was rude to me. I originally couldn’t get a sku number so I asked an associate could she help me. Since I had a picture of the sku she was going to manually enter it but I told her that I only had half the set so she referred me to customer. Mr Curtis said do you need help sir? I replied yes and explained my dilemma. He laughed and said, “well we wouldn’t know the price either.” I said, well I was told to come to customer service to resolve the issue so maybe you could call a manager for help if you can’t figure it out. So he asked the older lady next to him for help. I let her know that I had a picture of the product with the SKU but it didn’t have the other piece which was the brush connection. He then all of sudden had a price by offering 10% off which I told the kind older woman that curtis basically wants to give me $1.50 for something that’s clearly half way missing. Curtis said that was all that he could do which was understandable but there was no reason to insult my intelligence like that because help had already arrived. He should’ve let a pro take over like she did and she said to mark it off by 50% and I said, boom done deal and put my other item on the counter and that ticked him off. So he says, we’ll allI could give you was 10% rudely. He didn’t get his way and was clearly wrong. So I told him I just wanted what was fair so there was no need to get an attitude.. He rudely said he didn’t have an attitude which was super unprofessional. In stead of just saying, no sir I was wrong and sorry for the inconvenience have a nice day. He made me feel like I should just take what he was giving and shut up. Like he wrote the mission statement and by laws for Home Depot. I stepped to the side for a second to keep my composure and went back to the counter to finish my purchase. He asked for me to pull up the pic on my phone again which my phone was on 1% but thank God it didn’t go dead. I’m sure I would’ve had to walk back there instead of him. Great geo from Fred
Fred gives outstanding customer service. While other employee pointed to another employee when I ask him to help me Fred walked by and offer help even though he did not work the tool department.. I wish other employee had the customer service mind set of Fred.

Exceptional employees
Just wanted to take time out to recognize Shelby and Gaby for making my shopping experience less stressful. Their patience was remarkable with helping me find a scrubber and crowbar that was misplaced and at the upper limits of the shelves they took about an hour plus to find the items and save me a trip to Sarasota. Grat customer service is a lost art but glad there’s still hope through them. Give them

Self check out with HD commercial card
The last 2x I’ve been to this store their self check out and regular register did not accept my Home Depot commercial credit card. I would’ve had to go to customer service to have card processed manually. I did not have time and just paid cash which is not good for my company record keeping.

Disappointed with the lack of customer service.
I only needed a key and another item, but unfortunately, the job wasn't done correctly. The key doesn’t even work, so now I have to waste more time returning to the store to get it replaced. Very frustrating experience.

My Home Depot experience first as a business partner then as a customer.
My relationship with Home Depot goes back to 1990, while I worked as project coordinator for a not-for-profit organization. Apart of my job was to establish business partner(s) to help offset my program budget as In Kind Controbution. The program was called FloridaFix, together we helped low to moderate income families who owned there homes, but were not financially able to get the necessary home repairs that they desperately needed and wanted. We were very successful and a number elderly seniors received new windows, doors, partially and full replaced roofs, weatherization testing and addressing in the needed areas. AL at no cost to the home owner(s). Home Depot provided the man power and
expertise and tackled the challenge of several homes from start to finish. Now, today I as a private citizen and shop for my home I find myself coming to Home Depot again looking for that some knowledge, expertise and professionalism that I have come to expect.

A nice experience
This is my go to store for most of my home needs and projects. This is the second instance where a weeknight evening shopping experience was extended because finding an available associate took about 20 minutes to lay eyes on; and, another 15 minutes to wait for them to finish up with a customer on the phone. I take this as a couple of things…good customer service and inadequate staffing. I also understand that over staffing affects the bottom line and previous trends for sales dictate staffing levels; and, I still feel the need to bring this to the attention of someone who can potentially do something about it.
Overall my experience was nice once I was engaged with the associate who assisted me, and I also want to encourage those that shop here to be patient and kind to those who do work in this store.

Clean, stocked and friendly
This location is easy to navigate and locate exactly what you came for. Products are front faced and the store is well kept. Bathroom is clean, but the only complaint is no paper towels to dry your hands, only has the air dryers. All in all, great store with a friendly staff.

Great store but careful who is in Customer service
I love this store they have what I need or they always have the courtesy to find it at another store but careful when you go to Customer Service desk , the worse experience of my life was at this store with a older lady who works there. I wish she is remove because it’s taking the spark away from this location.

Great plumbing department- check out Mr Nelson
If you have ever been frustrated with shopping at Home Depot? Well you are not alone. This time was different however. I was shopping in the plumbing section and got the good fortune of connecting with Mr Nelson. He appeared a bit rough at first contact. Thought he was a bit arrogant and course in his mannerisms. But I hung in there and truly discovered what a gem of an individual he is. He is extremely (I don’t use these words lightly). He genuinely wanted to help me solve my problem, and he was a real teacher at heart. I believe he belonged in a university. His methodology and systematic approach to problem solving was academic and very effective.
Thank you Home Depot for hiring quality people such as this man. And please do everything you can to hold on to him.

Great Experience!
There are several home improvement stores that are much closer to my home, but I will continue to drive the extra 20 minutes to shop at this store because of Jeannette in Flooring, and Store Manager Michael. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my flooring project. I could not have asked for a better experience!!! Thank you both for being so kind and helpful!!!
