As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

The cashier decided, prematurely, to select a print receipt before I even had the opportunity to select an email receipt on the keypad. When given the opportunity I always select a paperless or paperless & email receipt to be sent to me when operating the keypad. I told the cashier to “SLOW DOWN” prior to me putting in my card during the transaction. He was in a rush that he ignored me and canceled my request at the keypad to issue me a printed receipt. I insisted that a manager show up to cancel the transaction and redo the sale so I could be given an opportunity to ask for both an email and print receipt. The cashier wanted me to go to customer service. I informed the cashier that I should not be inconvenienced for a mistake that he did therefore, a manager should be contacted to make this correction. The manager did show up and refund my sale and reran it so I could choose the correct way that I wanted a receipt.

Even though the store was clean, orderly and personnel friendly, the discount policy for veterans is horrible. Unless changed immediately, I will shop at other box stores that recognize veterans with a discount and not pick and choose what will be when you arrive at the counter!
