Bad customer service !!
Refuse to return a defective item ( under 40 a piece ) Ligth stand that Brocke 3 days after purchased .. not even a store credit or exchange . General Manager said “ you can not return a used item after you open the box and used it “”

    Nice shopping experience
    I went to the store to get a specific product I researched on the mobile app. I got to the store and went to the aisle and bin I received in a text. I found a better item for the same price! Also - they had Christmas stuff out and I felt kind of nostalgic seeing some of that stuff.

      Exceptional customer service
      I bought an appliance and got very quick help to process the order. The representative was friendly, answered all my questions and very efficient. Then I went to pick up some other items that I needed. I had two other reps offer to help or ask if I needed any support.

            Sometimes. . .
            Occasionally I will encounter a great associate who will offer assistance. Most of the time I could roll a bowling ball down the aisle and not encounter anyone.

              Ignored and treated rudely
              Friday evening, needed paint. An employee was having a conversaton with a person for a couple of minutes. I was patient and stood at the paint counter. After I realized the employee was talking to a buddy, I excused myself to ask if anyone was working the area and was met with a deep sigh. He said he would find out, but never returned.

                        This Home Depot location is always reliable, but my most recent visit was especially great thanks to Tracey in the Plants/Garden department. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable—exactly the kind of support you hope for when you’re not quite sure what you need. Her friendly attitude and expertise made my shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. The entire store is well-organized and the staff are consistently attentive, but Tracey truly stood out. Big thanks to her and the whole team for maintaining such a high level of service. Highly recommend this location!

                          Customer Dis-service.
                          The old guy working with 26 years experience in the business hassled me for returning a paint hook I didn't need because the package was a little dirty. Made a big deal out of it. I spend untold thousands every year at Home Depot. I was a Pro extra member, with a commercial account. I will now take my money elsewhere, thanks for the Dis-service.

                              I purchased the installation of 3 doors. Doors do not come painted. This is a gouge. Charging for something that should be standard.

                                              Rude Attitude on Overcharges
                                              I purchased a package of two smoke/CO2 monitors. I red banner inside the package stated "A Value at $120." I got home and realized I paid $129. I called the store and was told the correct price was $129 and it must have been old packaging. I was told I could return them. So I did, along with numerous other items I purchased on the same visit. Then I was offered a $10 credit. Too rude and too late. Now I remember why online shopping is so much more convenient.

                                                    Appliance Specialist Experience
                                                    I was shopping around for 3 new appliances. I made a decision to purchase at Home Depot based upon pricing. There was an Appliance Specialist named Cecilia who assisted me on the day that I went in to purchase a washer, dryer and microwave. She was amazing and beyond what I expected to receive. Superior customer service. Kudos to Cecilia.

                                                        I needed a new refrigerator. Shopped at 5 stores before going to Home Depot. The Appliance Specialist (Cecilia) was so knowledgeable and helpful, I purchased my fridge on the spot. None of the other stores compared with her service. (Hoping the installation due today goes well.)

                                                          Wow, it’s amazng how annoying it is to checkout out, at self checkout these days. You go to checkout out at the self checkout to help yourself to scan your your purchases in timely manner. Now you get slowed down by associate and they scan your stuff like you don’t know how too and hurry push the pay button, like to don’t know how to do this, before you can even check accuracy and price of items. This is also while not bbeing friendly out all. What an invasion of your purchase an privacy. Bring back self checkout to the consumer!!

                                                            Bought a clothes dryer yesterday and Cecilia in appliances was wonderful! She explained all of the options in the purchase and next steps in getting my new dryer installed. She was fun and friendly and took the time I needed to understand everything.
