I am redoing afew rooms ( bathroom and painting 2 other rooms, New Kitchen Faucets)... Painting Closets and ceilings. I had a list of what I needed and an apximate budget of about $2000. We had already done a dry run to see where things were and what would fit the space and color scheme afew days B4. The day we went we wound up spending alittle over $1300 and I bought a DIY card for $300 for future odds and ends I k new we'd need. Over all we spent about $1650 and things are all working out GREAT. Mark helped in Plumbing.. Great guy, smart and helpful, I as on the phone to the plumber and as I'd tell him what the plumber needed he'd pull it out for me.. Tom was my ALL AROUND SuperStar: Lumber, Bath, flooring.. when I'd be looking for something he'd ask .. "What can I help you find?" and He WOULD Find it!!! Nathan, the Floor Mgr,, very cheerful and helped with the final tally. 2 cashiers were very helpful Mayte ( MEW5459) and Linda (LAR5216). An Overall Great Experience... we'll see you again soon... :-)

I'm Kevin and I work for Marriott hotel , the staff at the central Islip HD is exceptional ,Kelly , Rosa, Anyhony , Bruce Jamaican guy in plumbing , the tool rental guy can't remember all the names but every single department delivers excellent customer service from the minute you walk in until you leave I love shopping at this store and highly recommend it . Big thank you to all the staffs at Central Islip Home Depot .

Taking advantage of a warm late fall I went shopping for garden soil. The fact that it was already stored up high in scaffolding was no problem for the stock man. He pleasantly got a ladder & retrieved my soil. I was served well by the cashier. She has helped me on previous shopping trips. I was happy to see her. I asked where I could find fire extinguishers. The stock man, overhearing me said "aisle 1 come I'll show you." I told him I wanted to get my soil in my car first. He was with a customer when I came back into the store ... after a bit he actually found me and assisted me with selecting the extinguisher . Other associates had asked if I needed help in the meanwhile. I shopped around and picked up a few more things. I decided to check out back in the garden department. I told the cashier that I came back because she was so pleasant and had helped me other days too. She said how she really enjoys the job. She is efficient and knowledgeable about gardening. It was another nice shopping experience. I found everything I wanted and a few other items too! Thanks!

Best one in Long Island best people that work ther it was a joy

I was purchasing paints for my church and I went to the store expecting to pay a lot for paints but with the help of the sales associate who was well experience in the product I was able to get my purchases for half the price. I then went to check out and the cashier advised me about the Home Depot credit card which will help me also save more on my purchases, and there was no pressure at all.

THE WORKERS THERE ARE VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IF THEY ARE NOT THEY WOULD LOOK FOR SOMEONE THAT KNOW IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE THEY WOULD DIRECT YOU TO A STORE THAT DOES .

Beautiful selection of all sizes and colors of poinsettias - very fresh and nicely displayed. Helpful associates though I did not ask for help. Extremely friendly!

The sales associate, ROSA, in the appliances section was great and very helpful. She was knowledgeable,informative and helpful offering her personal advice. I would definitely return to Home Depot for my next appliance purchase as the price was right, the sales transaction was not pressured, and the choice of products was vast. I highly recommend the Home Depot.
