THIS STORE WAS GREAT TO SHOP AT. I DEALT WITH A MANAGER NAMED "MICK". HE LISTENED TO MY PROBLEM AND QUICKLY CAME UP WITH A SOLUTION. MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

The service at this location is always friendly and the store is very clean. In my opinion, the Chalmette location Nailed It!!!

Clean and convenient

Best experience I have ever had at Home Depot, Ms Chea is adorable, pleasant and entertaining, full of personality, which is plus. Ms Chea is attentive, knowledgeable and she is an asset to Home Depot. She deserves a reward, I will definitely be coming back soon.

We really need this store here in Chalmette and It was the first one after Katrina the people are friendly and very helpful and the store is stocked well. the service desk people are wonderful and kind.

Keyiana the cashier was very nice and tried to apply a discount for the damaged carton on the ceiling fan I purchased, she advised me because of covid 19 I would have additional time should there be a problem with my purchase.

This Store is the worst Home Depot I have Ever been in. NO HELP FROM ANYONE. CASHIER WOULDN'T EVEN TALK TO ME. I'M AN 81 YEAR OLD WHITE MAN, ALL BLACK EMPLOYEES, ALL IGNORED ME. SAD, SAD. I'M A CHRISTIAN, A VETERAN, AND AN AMERICAN PATRIOT. I SERVED THIS COUNTRY WITH HONOR AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN. THESE YOUNG PEOPLE NEED TO BE EDUCATED ABOUT HONOR AND RESPECT.

The store is fine. I've patronized this location many times and, typically, leave as a satisfied customer. However, BEWARE of appliance delivery through their partner--Freight Rite, Inc. Go lookup the Google Reviews yourself (1.8 stars ta the time of this review). And, so far, they're fully affirming that rating. The delivery truck arrived during scheduled time window (7:30-11:30a on 03-JUL), but didn't have my appliance on their truck. Their immediate reaction was aggravation that they'd have to drive all the way back across town. I told them no worries--I had taken off work and would be home all day to receive the shipment later in the day. Ten minutes after they left my house, the driver called me and asked if I "really needed" the appliance today. I told him yes and that my wife & I have multiple children whose laundry need be done over the weekend. Feeling concerned that they simply did not want to deliver my purchased product because of the inconvenience to them (to have to drive back across town twice), I decided to call my local Home Depot. The local representative gave me the phone number to Freight Rite. I called Freight Rite. The associated I spoke to ensured me that my appliance would be on their "second" delivery today. Six hours later, someone from their corporate office called me to tell me the local warehouse is already closed for holiday (at 2:30p). I spoke to their Operations Manager, Tim, who essentially told me "we're at the mercy of the delivery drivers" ... so, I should've known better earlier this morning when the driver called me back asking me if I "really needed" my purchased product today. I hope my experience is a tale of CAUTION for any other prospective buyers who might consider purchasing an appliance through Home Depot using Freight Rite as their delivery company! There is always someone willing to assist you from the moment you walk in the door. Scott, Asst. Manager and Cindy, Cashier, always make a bad day a little bit better.

Your store is always clean and organized. Finding materials sometimes is a little difficult but I am always able to locate an employee with their orange aprons with their names on them. I use your store for almost all of my home and construction needs.
