This teview is not about the staff. They do a good job. The Chula Vista Store at 725 Plaza Court has crowded isles as there are too many floor merchandise displays crowding the isles. The Store has a dirty feel to it, ex paint isle spray paint can cage is graffitied with spray samples from customers testing on cage Also a big hazard outside - lots of merchandise in front of garden department and main store entrance on the yellow hash paint marks forcing customers to walk into traffic. Please visit this store and address this matter. Thank you.

Palm Ave branch is closer and much easier to get into, but this store usually has what I need in stock.

I been buying electric components and so far they have everything I need it

It is very frustrating that you have to walk through the whole store to get some one to help u , and they tell u I will call some one else. You have all this other employees just talking to each other but they can’t help u .

As a Home Depot customer I've always appreciated the friendliness and knowledge provided by the personnel. The facility is always clean and well organized, with items accessible and prices clearly marked.

I had a manufacturer’s coupon for $10 off on a Swiffer. When I checked out, it would not accept the coupon. The cashier pretty much said too bad, we don’t accept manufacturers coupons, just Home Depot’s.

I bought this plastic sheath two days ago and I am glad I did.

The staff members at this store are always wiling to answer questions, assist in finding the right product, or give suggestions when asked. I have had only positive interactions and am grateful for the help I receive.

Very happy with the service I received

I Received estimate for new carpeting for a complete 3-bedroom house. The estimator advised me that the installer would not do the removal and disposal of the old carpeting as it was stained. I truly could not believe what I was told and advised the estimator that I had no intention of buying the carpeting from Home Depot and probably never would again. A couple of days later I received a call from Steve from the flooring department. I explained what I had been told and expressed my extreme disappointment. Steve asked if he could check into it and call me back. The following day (early morning) Steve called and advised me he had talked to the manager of the installer’s company, and they had assured him that the old carpeting would be removed and disposed of. As a result of Steve’s exemplary customer service, I then went directly to Home Depot and ordered the carpeting. Steve was responsible for me remaining a loyal Home Depot customer which included me opening a store credit card. The existing carpeting being removed was ordered from and installed by Home Depot and thanks to Steve, the new (and probably future) carpeting again is being procured and installed by Home Depot.

I needed duplicate keys for my car. One associate was helpful in calling another associate to assist me for making key copies.

I've been working on a small remodeling project at my home. I've been going to the Chula Vista Home Depot almost daily. The staff at this store is awesome!!! Super friendly and very helpful. From the management team, to the floor employees, to the front end team. I highly recommend this store.

Refrigerator, gas stove top and range hood.

Lerned there a foam expander to block rodents from getting in my home i wish i can remember his name he was working in chimical lane very helpful I didn’t even ask for help he asked me. Happy

I’m an avid Home Depot customer because of employees courteousness and premium willingness to help or aid me whatever information I need to know. Also they are all professionals specially that gentleman in electric wheel chair. Very humble, respectful and darn right precise!

Roman in the Chula Vista HD appliance department helped us with our purchase of a refrigerator and stove. He was incredibly helpful and we plan to return when we are ready to purchase our washer and dryer. Give that kid a raise!

Employees are so ready to help and give you suggestions

I visited the paint department on 12/16/2024 to purchase paint for a home remodel. I asked the employee to color match a furniture color and sought his assistance with selecting an appropriate paint type and finish. He was grouchy, condescending and aggressively unhelpful. Definitely not someone suited for retail sales. I do not recommend this store for any kind of assistance with paint.
