Great Lawns Start With the Right Care

Choose from our selection of fertilizers from popular name brands and enjoy a lush lawn all spring. Granular fertilizer with a time-release formula gives you more control over your lawn feeding schedule. You can also try quick-release liquid fertilizer, which gives your grass immediate results when it comes to growth and color. If you’re environmentally conscious, we offer plenty of all-natural fertilizers that nourish your lawn with organic matter. Be sure to pick up a spreader to distribute your fertilizer. Broadcast spreaders are a classic choice for a wide area. For smaller lawns, stick with a handheld spreader and if you want to control the range of your fertilizer, choose a drop spreader.

The Right Rugs for Any Space

Bring warmth and comfort into any room of your home with the addition of a rug. We offer a wide selection of rugs in multiple shapes, styles, colors and patterns sure to complement your décor. Tie your living room together with a subtle, all-natural sisal rug, or make a bold statement with the retro look of a shag rug. For hallways and entryways, consider runner rugs to create a tasteful and inviting accent. Kids rugs are the perfect solution to add a dash of color and personality to playrooms. If you have stairs, give your feet some traction and comfort with stair tread covers. Don’t forget to stock up on rug pads to keep your new rug from slipping and sliding.

I was having not one of my best days when I was asked by my father to pick up a blow torch, he was making creme burlees and he wanted to burn the sugar. Reluctantly, I drove to your store, and as I walked in I was greeted by Amalia at the customer service desk. She greeted me with a smile and genuine welcome, it was obvious Amalia was happy at her desk. After exchanging pleasantries I told her that I was looking for a torch to make dessert. Gabby overheard me and joined our conversation. Instead of pointing me towards an isle, they looked up the torches and confirmed they were in stock then directed me to the isle and bin where it was located. Then, as I was walking out, Amalia helped me pay and followed up with me to make sure I had everything I needed. These day's some service employee's give you a not so genuine greeting, it's just part of their job. Iv'e been a leader in training customer service for thirty five years until I was laid-off. Amalia and Gabby created an experience that changed my attitude and made my day brighter. Thank you.

The store's customer service needs improving. Associates seem to avoid trying to assist customers (in general). This has been my experience over years of visiting this store.

I was in your store at 726 Plaza Court in Chula Vista this evening. The paint aisle was closed off at both ends, as is your safety procedure, with an employee at the top of a ladder. However, that employee was not in the process of finding a particular item for another customer. That employee was doing stock work, moving from section to section, putting boxes on the shelf and organizing them. That employee, along with his helper on the ground, prohibited all customers including myself from shopping in that aisle. I was told this was their procedure in that store. If so, if that store manager requires this, permits this, or simply looks the other way, you need to fire him. And if you don't think so, then ask yourself this basic question: who are you in business to serve, your customers or your employees? If the convenience of your employees is your priority, then why even open your doors to the public? Just do what makes things easiest for your employees and don't let customers get in your way! If stock work is a safety hazard to your customers, you need to do it when the store is closed. And when the store is open, do you really want your employees to decide which merchandise will be available and which merchandise won't, simply based on their personal convenience? Instead of offering a largest possible selection of merchandise to your customers which is what made Home Depot what it is today, is your policy now to offer only whatever selection of merchandise your employees feel like allowing customers to buy in whatever particular aisle, at whatever particular time? And if your store manager doesn't understand this basic principle, like I said, you need to fire him. Don't apologize to me for the "inconvenience". This isn't just a customer service issue. You have a serious problem. Please fix it.
