I had a rather harrowing experience along with wretched customer service at the Gahanna, Ohio store. I stopped in at the Cleveland Avenue store; as I walked down an isle a gentleman asked if he could help me...and the rest is history. He was a manager and sat down with me, pointed me in all the right directions and ensured that my carpet purchase and installation was painless...as did Elaine. He assisted me another time when I needed some help, outside the carpet purchase. Customer service is what it is all about. People like to be acknowledged...even if it is just to look up and say, "I'll be right with you." Thanks Ben, Elaine and your store. You have a great team.

Staff did not know where items were kept - was referred to different staff and sent to different aisles!

We received help in the store today by Tom. He took initiative in helping us find a mister for our yard, even though he was unsure where they were located he stayed with us until it was found. He is a very friendly man aND we would come back just because Tom was so wonderful.

Dan has helped me with my gardening needs for several years now. Each season I return for his gardening expertise. My yard looks great and I get lots of great comments from my neighbors. I tell them "Go see Dan at the Cleveland Avenue Home Depot store. He'll give you lots of gardening advice and tips on how to save on your gardening needs."

I've used this store close to 100 times in the last 4-5 years. On only two visits, both in spring/summer 2016, did they not have what I was looking for: 1) a manual edger, you know the spiked wheel attached to a pole used to create edge lines between sidewalk & lawn- however they did have other styles including powered; and 2) an inflatable / above-ground pool which I didn't really expect them to have anyway. Otherwise this store has always had what I needed / wanted and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. This store is as close to a perfect store as one would expect. Never a disappointment.

All employees were very friendly and helpful especially Lisa who helped us out at the time of checkout. We also find items here that we are not able to find at other home improvement stores.

The staff and management were very persistent in assisting us find the tile we needed for our home because they were sold out. Multiple stores throughout the city were contacted until they found one store with enough tile to have delivered to our home. Thank You Eric, Suzy & Bernadette for going above and beyond because the cabinets, counter tops, paint and everything else we already purchased and ordered were all based around this tile!!!

Customer Service 101...When a customer brings a product to you without a price tag, DO NOT ask said customer to return to the department to get a SKU for you. Communicate with your fellow employees and solve the problem.

The store was neat and clean. The associates were helpful and very courteous. John at the contractor's desk was very helpful.

I have spent thousands of dollars there. The only way I would stop shopping there is if you tore the place down or, of course, if I die.

After a hard day at work, I was not looking forward to buying mulch and top soil because of my bad back and the effort it takes to lift the bags. I had a great customer experience in the Garden area by an associate who offered to assist me. She without a beat offered to get a cart, lift the bags onto the cart and even offered to load them into my car trunk. Others in the garden area were just as friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed my experience at this Home Depot location.

The Home Depot Memorial Day paint sale is the best! Great quality paint at exceptional prices! The Cleveland Ave store in Columbus,OH is really quick and easy to get to from I-270 North.
