Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your home. On the outside of your house, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 5/2/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this adorable keepsake box that fits all sorts of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
