The Decatur, Alabama store is my favorite place to shop for all my home projects. While most every trip there has been a good experience, we recently purchased a tornado shelter from them and had a dispute with the company that manufactured the shelter. After repeated phone calls to the company to honor a discount that was posted on the product in the store, the manager at the Decatur store was quick to step in and assist on our behalf. The company called us back within minutes to let us know that the discount would be honored. Now that's real customer service.

This store puts new orange, cylindrical coolers in the outdoor area under a roof that birds love. The cups for the coolers also are displayed here. Other merchandise in this area is covered by dust and bird droppings. That's fine for bags of fertilizer but doesn't make sense for items that will be used for liquids intended for humans.

I was purchasing a toilet seat and the sales associate was very helpful in directing me to the right isle, there were lots of different styles and colors to choose from, I found what i needed right away.

I was treated with great respect and the associates were very helpful. Everything I needed was provided to me during the purchasing of my product.

The person who helped me was extremely knowledgeable in the department I was needing help with. Very courteous, didn't rush me, knew where everything was at and for the first time, I actually enjoyed shopping. This Home Depot gets an A+ and if I didn't live so far, I'd be shopping here (Decatur) more often!

Did not know where my products where and had no problem finding an associate to assist me. Both were extremely friendly and did not hesitate to pick up the phone as ask for assistance...very good experience.

The lady at paint desk was very helpful with picking out paint and helping me match my colors.

We were greeted at the entrance and then every department we visited with friendly offers to assist us. Our associate Phillip was knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with us in our door buying decision. He also assisted us with guidance to other associates in other departments that also assisted us with our needs. A most surprisingly enjoyable experience in a large warehouse type store. Well done!

I am a senior and found the associates very helpful and courteous. I know that my experience was less stressful because of the respect shown to me.

This store is well staffed and the experience of shopping is always fun. We shopped for about and hour and then asked for assistance and within moments we were taken care of.

WENT IN TO PURCHASE NEW MICROWAVE. THE ASSOCIATE WAS VERY HELPFUL!!! I PURCHASE A DISPLAY MODEL AND SHE NOTICED SOME SCRATCHES ON IT AND IMMEDIATELY WITH OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP ME COMPLETE MY PURCHASE! THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND I WILL KEEP COMING BACK! I WILL NOT BE GOING TO THE BLUE STORE!!!!!

I visited Home Depot on Black Friday and even though there was a large crowd, I was able to get the help needed to make my transaction go smoothly.

That tall Black guy can't remember name, he has worked there for 3-4 years that I have been using the Decatur store. He has helped us in lumber, lighting, ceiling fans etc... very very helpful and seems to always be at work. He is maybe 40ish about 6' give or take an inch or two and about 240 lbs. This man is the TipTop Associate at the Decatur store, he is friendly, nice, informed, polite and will help if he can, if not he will get the dept associate for our need. And he has always been this way! #Excellent The above scores reflect this associate described above!

Associates are always courteous and helpful. I always shop Home Depot first for what I need. I really appreciate the veterans discount.
