I shop many Home Depot locations due to product availability and convenience. The DeerPark location by far has the friendliest staff, I've been shopping here since Sept 2018, and regardless on my reasons for arrival purchase/return/exchange everyone remained patient and helpful.

Me and my husband often shop at The Home Depot. Within the last 6 months or so we been getting most of our help from Jim the plumber. He seems to have the most experience. He is always inclined to help and knows where everything is. Jim makes us feel comfortable while we are there and always willing to help regardless how complex our projects become. Jim is a great asset to the home depot and we feel confident we made the right decisions after speaking to Jim.

I would rather drive a longer distance to shop at Lowe’s rather then this Home Depot. The people who work there are just straight up miserable and nasty. Shop elsewhere.

My shopping experience was fantastic because of Jim from plumbing. I was impressed with his encyclopedia knowledge regarding various aspects of home improvements. It is refreshing to know that a person can still get this level of support and because of him I will be shopping at this particular Home Depot again.

The store employees I came across was helpful, courteous and professional.

The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. i do not shop here often as I go to the Commack store. I would definitely come here as well knowing that this store is as helpful and pleasant to deal with as is the Commack store.

Sales cashier Gaetan was friendly, prompt, helpful and courteous. He helped to make a routine trip to the store a better one.

I delt with an associate Jim from the Plumbing department. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of home improvements. It's been a long time since I had the level of support. If the rest of Home Depot continues to provide this level of support I will continue to be a long term customer and encourage others to shop here as well.

Sales Cashier Abigail has no customer training what so ever. Seniors citizens told her they had a $30 coupon and she did not let them use it. She was asked multiple times to send help to load heavy tile to the car not because they want to be a pain but because of their age and also my dad got injured in a car accident couple of weeks ago. She was able to keep peaking but unable or unwilling to send help. To see the struggle their were going trough another customer help them out. Very unprofessional and careless. I’m sure all this is on video surveillance to proof all I’m writing is the truth. They have been spending thousands at Home Depot to be treated like they are not worth. No customer service training, careless attitude, disrespectful to elders. Sadly this is the people representing Home Depot now a days.

The reps in this store act like you pulled them out of their bed to answer questions. Day one of training must consist of teaching the reps to say: "I don't work in this department". Cross train your people for chrissakes. That's their response for everything. I actually had a young kid whiz by on one of the machines and tell me he was having fun until I had to go by and he had to get off. What kinda job is this?

When I went there someone was cleaning and there was a lot of help

I was at the Deer Park Home Depot with my sons on a very hot day. I asked my sons to request help from an associate to carry 12 heavy bags of garden pebbles. When my sons came back, they told me that the employees made very rude comments about them and would not be helping us. We ended up carrying the product ourselves. One of my sons previously worked at Home Depot in Central Islip and he kept note of the associates’ names Lennox and Chris. The store was nice, however these 2 associates deter me from coming back.

My visit today was great, I went out with my son for the first time in this quarantine and they were very kind to us, guided and help us warmly.

Did a curbside order which was fulfilled in no time, went to pickup and caught an employee on her way back in . She took my order number and was back in 5 Minutes. Excellent service

I have shopped here for or many years for household, gardening, plumbing as well as appliances without disappointment.

I am a Nurse Practitioner. I desperately need N95 masks. I am also a disabled veteran and need access to PPE. Please help!!!

If you need help in any department, 1st go to garden and look for Chris with the glasses, he will help you in any depart and is very knowledgeable. Everyone else needs to pull the stick out of their butt.

I had a superb experience visiting this store. Jamilah, the Sales Associate was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. With her guidance I was able to make a decision in less than 1 hour that I have been thinking about for months. We need more persons like her interacting with customers. Overall experience with staff was excellent. Keep up the good job. I will not think twice about driving from Bay Shore to Deer Park to visit this store.

All employees are very helpful. Whenever I needed someone, I always got them. Once I needed a vanity which was on the top shelf. The store assistant took his time found someone to help and moved few other material from the top shelf to get my vanity.
