Sam from Hardware is the man!!!

I came to HD looking for a set of tools to fix a broken bed. I had just lost all my tools. Sam listened carefully and helped me replace 80% of my tools with modern, more portable versions and taught me about the husky lifetime warranty.

Best Home Depot in Chicago

The people at the location are the most helpful of any I have been to. Jason is Kitchens is the consumate professional. His follow up is great. Larry in flooring really great too. Everyone there is helpful and knowledgeable.

Poor customer service

Tried to return 4 door slabs that are a stocking product with out a receipt. Asked for an instore credit and was denied my return. When I asked why and talked with a manager I was told to read the bottom of the denial receipt. No help by the local team.

Ask for Dave in Tool & Truck Rental

Dave in Tool and Truck rental was SUPER helpful and friendly. I had accidentally reserved a truck for a different date than I needed, and he helped me get the reservation reset correctly. He was patient, humorous and very helpful. He’s a great asset to The Home Depot. I wish more employees had his desire to solve problems for people like he clearly does!!
