Bought all my plumbing supplies from home depots Eli guided me to make sure I got everything I needed. He walked me to every Isle to get all the parts that I needed for my shower and kitchen draining and sewer system

Lots of staff are not doing anything and won't even help when asked.

I was help with him and He treated me very badly, because I had a little problem with my card and I ran out of the cash register I told him that because he did that, I let him make a complaint to the company and he told me that he didn't care, because he has more than 25 years in the company and that they can't do anything to him, I didn't go to another box and another employee helped me generously, the truth is that I would like them to do something because it's not fair that they treat a client badly Be aware of this employee

It was really frustrating, I felt I was let down. I was hosting a party assured that the grill I ordered would come, I ended up using my over for the meat already marinated for barbecue. They did not tex or email the status and i had to call a couple of tines just to learn It wont be delivered.

No one in the paint department on Saturday 11am. ? Previously I visited East palo alto store asked one of the managers when the receive there next delivery of Sod !! He told me tomorrow morning early before they open and to come by early 6am opening to make sure i get some !!!! Yep I was there !!!!! Nothing was delivered!!! I've always had bad experiences at this location !! Poorly managed!!!

I bought so many stuff for more than $3000.

Worst Home Depot of the Bay Area. The employees are not that helpful, they ignore the calls for help in the megaphone, and they oftentimes don't know where things are at. Case in point (Recent experience): In the lumber section, there was NO safety tube to contain the 2x3x8 lumber from falling. I took some of the pieces, and not surprisingly, some of the pieces fell. It could have hurt somebody. One guy in lumber noticed, asked me if I was OK (I was), but he said that I needed to tell management about that safety tube not available. It should be that HE should tell his management, and follow up, to have that safety tube in place. I don't work there, so I will not follow up with management. It's weird that he wants to avoid his responsability as a worker there, by telling the customer to contact management directly.

I go to this Home Depot because the associates acknowledge me as soon as I enter the place with a greeting, offering me help, and best of all, doing it with a smile. They are prompt to help. At the Garden Center, I get tips to care for my plants and all the help I need to carry pots and bags of soil. Everyone makes sure that I get help: Carlan, Karen, Beto, you ROCK! Thanks so much for doing your job in such a courteous, professional, and happy manner.

Linda was very helpful and patient while we chose window treatments. Great prices.

Tried to recycle some flourescent tubes to replace them with LED and the store does not take the tubes, told me to go to Recology (our local refuse processor and garbage company). I went to the closest ACE. they took the old tubes and had what i needed.

Home Depot's loss protection programs make everyone feel like a criminal. Most tools are locked up now which means a long wait before you can get one. Then a worker needs to escort you to the cashier area. If you enjoy being treated like a criminal, give it a try!

Couldn’t find the item I needed, had two employees help me. They went above and beyond to try to locate the item I needed. When they couldn’t locate it they took the initiative to recommend a comparable alternative for a similar price. I’m highly satisfied with the service I have received over the years at this store!

Everything is organized at this store and they have more products/materials that other Home Depots I've been to.

Needed to purchase new kitchen faucet. Went to Home Depot because they always have a lot of choices from styles to finishes. Love their garden center too. Great variety at good prices

I buy most of my material from this store

I had a difficult time getting the purchase out of the display. Three clerks had tried to help and to no avail. It was STUCK!! An apparent manager came along and offered for me to go have a seat and she would come find me when the item was retrieved. She did just that, saw me to checkout and saw to it that the rest went well.

Jim Pineda went out of his way to help me identify the right purchase. I was contemplating changing a washer on a faucet. He helped research the model as it was very old and he recommended I purchase a new faucet. I agreed after he helped me weigh the options. I found the product at a substantially lower price point at a competitor and he helped match the price. Jim's service was impeccable. I will be looking for him on my next visit in case I need his help.

So.....my "local" Home Depot store is in Sunnyvale, CA. However, the times I've shopped at the East Palo Alto store have ALWAYS been a much better experience. EVERYONE says, "Hello" and asks if they can help me! :) I feel much better appreciated here than at the Sunnyvale store. Thus, I am switching my local store from Sunnyvale to East Palo Alto, and am committed to make the longer drive for the better service! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you! :) Dafuzz1015

With a few notable exceptions the staff is inexperienced, uninformed, unhelpful and uninterested in their work. They seem to me to be Interested only in a paycheck. Inventory is limited only to what sells quickly and in sufficient quantity. Tools and materials I need and have been buying and using for fifty years are not available at your stores and the local vendors have been forced out of business. I have to shop on line or drive 30 miles to buy materials and tools that have been construction industry standards for decades. Inventory is illogically organized, poorly maintained and regularly out of stock. I am in your stores regularly, but only because there’s no place else to go for many of the things I need.

Your support team has been very helpful lately.

The floor staff at this Home Depot is so friendly and helpful. Eli from the plumbing department walked me through various aisles, advised very competently what parts and tools I should buy and understood my DIY project, and later it all worked perfectly well at home. Eli went above and beyond to help me.

Store Managers are dedicated and 100% Costumer Service, Jeff also helped me by showing the way to the precise locations to find the Materials that I needed. Top Shelve! You don’t see this attention to costumers nowhere.

I am very impressed with the customer service that I received, hope was very friendly and created great rapor By asking for my name and told me that she has seen me shop at this store acouple of times, she was able to create an amazing shopping experience and was knowledgeable on where product locations are in her store as well as what the store has available for purchase best customer service experience I’ve ever had! I was in line to purchase my items. I was buying 11 light bulbs and 5 cans of spray paint. I thought I grabbed the all the same ligh bulbs 3 of the were different. The cashier pointed it out to me. I didn't notice. I went and got the correct ones and didn't have to wait in line again

We shop at Home depot about three times a week. Generally we get what we want at a 10% discounted price. The staff are always helpful. Noteworthy are the other customers many of whom volunteer to help lifting heavy items

When we were checking out the manager Jeff (I think?. kind of looked like Mark Hamel) was extremely unprofessional and rude. As we approached check out he looked at us, turned his back and started making comments about us to another employee in a very dismissive attitude. His problem was that he thought we were using the store to make all the cuts for our project and that this was not company policy and was dangerous. I told him that the sign near the lumber said that we could cut the pieces and that we were happy to pay the 50 cents for all the cuts over two. He said the store was only designed to cut wood so it would fit in cars and that he was going to "give an earful" to the employee who helped us. Keep in mind that we were purchasing 6 and 8 foot pieces of wood which would not fit in our small car. We couldn't cut them in half because that would make the pieces unusable for us, so we cut them in thirds (with a small off cut at the end). It's true that this offcut was less than 12 inches (so may have been against policy, although I assume the policy is to prevent cutting any piece which is less than 12 inches, not that you can't cut the end off a board which leaves a small piece like we did). I have worked with wood my whole life and have never heard of a safety issue when cutting the end of a board off even with a table saw. The employee who helped us cut the wood was extremely careful and, to reiterate, never cut a piece of wood smaller than 12 inches. I tried to explain to Jeff that the small pieces were just the offcuts at the end, but he wouldn't listen and tried to explain how it was a *huge* safety issue (I don't think he knew what he was talking about). In any case, the employee who helped us cut the wood was amazing, and we have had similar cuts done at several home depots before and never had a problem. However, Jeff was extremely unprofessional (even assuming the last cut was not company policy, it is not appropriate to talk behind our back and talk about disciplining employees like that when they were super helpful). Will probably never go back to this Home Depot again.

Lisa from home improvement department went above and beyond, tirelessly available and answering our questions. In turn she earned our trust: we bought with her 4 large windows, one patio door and one 4 panel gliding door. All thanks to her amazing support, expertise and frankly kindness. We received one patio door and two windows from the first order, and everything is perfect, thanks to her careful attention to our drawings and requests. We feel very grateful to have Lisa as part of our renovation plans! We now recommend Lisa to all our friends and even our contractors.
