The manager and door/window department are excellent!

I love shopping at Home Depot stores. The East Palo Alto Store is convenient to my home and the staff nice. I am relaxed shopping there I especially love the Garden Center. Sue is my favorite cashier when shopping there. She is consistently friendly and helpful whenever I visit.

Great customer service and but also very friendly

The Home Depot is a 1 billion dollar sales company, and I get a manager who pinches pennies over $7 difference in price before asking if i was going to buy something else. Only after I told him ( HE DID NOT ASK), did he agree to the $7 price Difference. What I mean by pinching pennies is the ASM Jeff offered $6 off. He would not give me the $1 difference even though he was completely out of the one I wanted.

Store associates extremely helpful!

The store was very clean the the employees are very helpful and attentive to their customers needs. Tui and Vita went above and beyond customer service.

It's not unusual to hear people complain about service at Home Depot, generally. This surprises me because the East Palo Alto store where I shop is outstanding. The service is spectacular. There is always someone ready to help. If they don't know the answer, they will find someone who does know the answer. They explain things clearly and give good advice. They are extremely friendly and courteous. One of the guys in electrics has been so kind and helpful to me that I consider him to be a personal friend. The store is clean and well stocked. Check out lines are managed well. Returns are easy. This store has been this way since the day it opened. I give the credit to exceptional store management who is good at training and motivating the employees and also fostering a sense of commitment that gives me the impression that everyone who works there really likes their job. Well done East Palo Alto Home Depot.

They have good customer service and I got to go experience I love this store

Store tends to be sloppy and in disarray, with random merchandise just left in the aisles. I'm not talking about product displays, I'm talking about just stuff left randomly in the aisles. It looks half-assed and creates an unprofessional store appearance. And even the merchandise on the shelves often tends to be arranged in strange and irrational ways, making it difficult and sometimes impossible to find what you want. Like cardboard moving boxes. You'd think they would be arranged predictably, according to size and strength. But instead, they're just haphazardly arranged on the shelves with no rhyme or reason, making it take even longer than it normally would to discover that they don't have the box you're looking for. :-( Customer service is slow due to inadequate sales staff, and canceling and refunding an order for a big-ticket item like an appliance takes FOREVER. The process is byzantine and overly complex and makes the DMV look like a paragon of efficiency. The employees themselves are reasonably friendly and helpful, though. They do the best they can with the situation they are burdened with.

Rigo in the home and garden section was so kind and helpful. He is such an expert on how to start a garden and gave me some great ideas on how to involve my young children.

This store is very organized and clean. The crew of employees are happy to be working there and give great service from the pro desk to the staff working in the different departments. The folks at the returns section are energetic and quick to help. I just like how clean the store is. The lumber section is always stacked and fresh! They are always willing to help move the lumber into my truck as well! thanks for being there!! the managers make creative solutions to potential problems. I have had them (Jeff) reach out to make sure that I'm being taken care of! Super great!

The store was clean and the associates were in the aisles stocking shelves. I had an issue with a special order and the associate was new. She immediately called for assistance and another associate responded. A supervisor was walking by and approached us and offered assistance. I assume she could tell something was amiss. The three of them took care of the situation promptly and I was very satisfied.

Friendly and helpful employees. Lots of choices for what you're looking for.

Garden Dept is the best resourse. It is always clear in the isles. More than I can say inside. Always a struugle to find room in the isles. Easier to find items.The service is also better. I commened Sue at chasier for good service. I do not know her other than the store

If you know what you want and where to go, good store to go to otherwise some of the people who work here really won't help you. " They don't work in that area"

This is a great store, centrally located I can not go in there without having two or three employees greet me and ask if I need assistance. I think we need more customer service people and less self check out counters. People want to interact with others.

Friendly staff in the electrical and paint department and at Pro Desk and Check Out. Some clerks at the return desk are friendly and others are extremely unfriendly. Aisles are often cluttered with no clerks available to help and answer questions or find merchandise. I regularly shop at the East Palo Alto Home Depot due to it's location close to my jobsites.

We have been to many different Home Depots but this one is the best we have been to. It is clean and organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it.

Apparently the management of this location has decided that on a busy holiday weekend that it's not necessary to have cash handling, employee-manned check out lines. When I finally got someone to ring me up and take my cash the clerk grabbed the item from my hand (grabbed!) and made it seem like she was being inconvenienced by having to work to ring me up and make change.

Super laid back

The cashier, Sue, was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips on how to pick the gardening soil and related items.
