I bought this one item for a total of $4.93, but the associate at store #1961 made my day by taking me directly to the isle and rack where it was stocked, and pointed at it on the rack. Bravo!

I ran in for two tiny Norfolk Island Pine trees. They're both healthy and look great.

I returned quite a few items I bought online and the associate was very polite and patient.

I got 6 keys made and 4 of them don’t work. I didn’t have much time this week and spent a while driving in traffic to Home Depot to get them made. Now I have to go back and return these AND find someone who can actually make keys that work.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Home Depot on Elston/Leavitt. I came in needing assistance in the molding and baseboard section and couldn’t find a single associate to help me. When I finally asked for help with cutting down over 50 pieces of trim, I was told I’d need to do it by hand. At checkout, I asked again for support. The woman at the front desk—who was noticeably unfriendly—called someone to ask if they could assist. I didn’t hear the response, but she followed up with, “So what’s your answer?” before hanging up and telling me flatly, “They can’t help.” How is a customer supposed to make over 50 cuts by hand in-store? Frustrated, I left and went to another Home Depot location, where the staff immediately helped me remove 16' boards from the racks and cut all of my trim pieces using an electric saw in minutes. What would have taken me all day was resolved quickly—exactly the kind of service I expected from the start. I ended up spending over $800 that day, but it’s incredibly disappointing that the Elston location refused to assist with such a basic and essential task. I hope you reconsider how your team supports customers with large-scale projects—especially when other locations are clearly able and willing to help.

As soon as we walked in, Joshua greeted us and he kindly showed us where to find the items we were looking for. You can feel the sense of pride and ownership he takes working with customers. Joshua is disabled and has been working at Home Depot for 14 years. I dont see him as being disabled and only felt the professionalism, kindness and joy he brought for a simple pit stop at Home Depot for nylon rope and anchors. Thank you to Joshua and Home Depot.

I wanted soil and grass seed. I was charged the wrong price and the garden center sent me across the store to get a refund.

I am a novice plant owner and had to repot my plants for the first time. I know it doesn’t seem like much but I was a little confused on the process and didn’t want to kill my plants after keeping them alive for 4 years 😆 Nick was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledge. I truly felt like I was talking to my neighbor and listening to his gardening advice. Thank you, Nick, for the outstanding customer service!

Second instance of picking up a pre-reserved Penske rental and pickup was not quick, smooth, efficient or a pleasant experience. Agents acted like I was inconveniencing them. They gave me incorrect info about the availability and details of my reserved truck. Took 45 minutes to pick up a pre-reserved vehicle..

I spent over 30 minutes asking for help identifying the size of a screw to buy a second one. It was a totally normal screw-nothing specialized. I asked five different employees for help over almost 45 minutes. The only effort made to “help” was paging someone to aisle 17 who never showed up (even though I waited for five minutes) and paging the manger who never answered. No one would come to the aisle to help me match the screw. I was made to feel like a HUGE inconvenience. Of the five employees I asked for help from, two were talking in groups of other employees who also made zero effort to help me. I don’t mean that they couldn’t find a match to the screw, I mean not a single person even attempted to try to look at the screw or offer any piece of advice. My boyfriend overheard the last two times I (kindly, patiently) explained I needed help and he was in disbelief that no one made any effort. I am a public school teacher in the community who prides themselves on being kind, courteous, positive and PATIENT. No employee was mean, but they did NOTHING. When I explained to the last employee (who was with two others who listened) that I had asked four other people for help, they just said they didn’t know why that happened. I went to leave and they asked if I needed anything else. I said I only came for the screw so if no one could help, there wasn’t anything else I needed. I simply cannot understand why I had this experience.

Lizbeth, the young lady working at the service desk was wonderful. She guided me in choosing the correct screwdriver for my door knob installation. Was incredibly kind in helping me set up a Home Depot account.

I came in to pick up a order the staff was very nice and helpful I actually picked up a few more items while I was there great employees U love the store!

Employees are always pleasant and helpful. Store is neat and clean. The prices are hit or miss depending what you need, but have some nice deals.

I am a contractor and prefer to shop at the Elston Ave. location. Both Randy and Raquel are very knowledgeable and helpful and go out of their way to help whenever a special order has to be placed or tracked.

This store had everything I was shopping for in stock, and the employees were friendly and helpful.

Be it an appliance or simple plants and flowers from the garden center, this store is in need of help. The customer is not the focus. The customer is NOT always right, but the customer is always the customer. There is no personal interest and concern on anything you buy from the store on Elston. It's a joke.

I was asked by multiple staff members whether I needed anything. They also knew where almost everything I needed was (or another nearby employee did). Giovanni helped us in the lumber area and cut some wood, and he was extremely helpful.

Good to buy landscaping items

I have bought my refrigerator and my dryer at this store and they both are running great over the last few years. Service was terrific. I always buy my plants and flowers at this location

I did not have to look for Help.They came to me I I i They asked if I needed help without me looking for help.They gave me suggestions and helpful tips. They showed me where to find the items that I was looking for they followed up to make sure everything that I needed I had all that I needed.

I have been buying a lot of things from home depot in the past month for a remodel we are doing and I have to say every time I've been to Home depot they employees are friendly and helpful. I really appreciate it.

Needed a New Refrigerator for my Trailer . Manny and His Coworker helped me out and save me money . Who don't like saving money so if you looking for something look out for the those Guys . Big help really happy with this purchase
