Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event in 2026?

Another huge spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Be sure to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is ready for springtime temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
