We were greeted when we walked in, we were assisted every time we needed it, and the cashier had us smiling. So much more than expected for a trip to the local home improvement store!

Returning an item that was received damaged in delivery can be difficult in some stores but the return clerk at Home Depot made the process smooth and professional. Excellent customer service!

My husband and I have been to the store very often for the past few days because of a recent home purchase. Every time we have questions, whether in store or on the phone, team members have responded quickly and helpfully. In the paint department we had a lot of help choosing items for the first time. Later, we had trouble with a paint sprayer we bought and called in. They said we could bring it in for someone to look at. An employee from the tool rental department cleaned our sprayer, looked it over, solved the problem, and gave us a great part for the piece we accidentally lost the previous day. In the appliances department the employees were also extremely helpful. We found an appliance cheaper at another competing store and they price-matched the item for us without making us jump through many hoops. Overall, I would highly recommend this store to anyone!

While this store has nearly everything, the corporate buyers need to consider that some duplicate items could be replaced by some related items that would be a better inclusion.

Young man cut the wood that we needed to size and had an attitude for service!!! Clerk ask if we were military and gave 10% discount and thanked my husband for his service to our country.

great staff, always helpful and for the most part experienced. If you run into one that isn't sure, they always find another staff member to answer your question or suggest a solution.

I asked for help upon entering store and nobody was available in the department. The cashier at front of the store called around and finally saw an employee walking by and asked for assistance.

I have been a fan of Home Depot for years and recently was notified that my home depot credit card would become inactive if I did not use it soon. Since I had moved to a city with no Home Depot, I did not have the opportunity for regular use of the store or card. I appreciated the reminder very much and took the first opportunity to drive to Grand Haven for some basic home purchases. Everyone was so helpful, the store was easy to find, it was clean and well organized, and I had fun shopping! Now that I know where it is, I will plan to return often. I'm so glad Home Depot gave me the heads up on the credit card which prompted this trip and pleasant shopping experience.

The store was clean and the associates were helpful. I even opened a new home depot card and saved $50 on my purchases! I am very pleased and am excited to install my new fixtures.

Today I was shown God's love through the employees at Home Depot Grand Haven. I had forgotten my wallet at home, but had my checkbook hoping that would work. I was wrong, without my license I was unable to pay. A man checking out next to me handed my daughter two dollar coins so that she could buy the candy that was going to be put on hold till I got my license. When the cashier (Diane) came back she told me that Home Depot covered my purchases today and that kindness spreads. Thank you so much to the man who gave my daughter the coins and Diane who it truly a blessing to me from God today.

I purchased special order interior doors that were scheduled to be delivered, but the driver didn't call until after my contractor left my home , so there was no one there to accept delivery. I was unable to leave work so I called the store & ask for some help & Eric & Rich., Assistant Store Managers went to my house to meet the driver, verified the delivery & secured doors in my garage!

Returned to the store today after seeing a large dent in a water heater I bought yesterday that did not after function so I had it installed. After seeing the damage I was refunded $50 from the purchase price. GREAT customer service.

After I found a dent in a water heater I bought yesterday the store refunded my original price and rebilled me with a $50 reduction in the price. More than fair.
